For me this Tomato is an unending visual treat. Somehow the blast underneath the red/rust double contrast stain bodies and is enlivened by the pigment. The layers of grain abut one another like scales. The appeal to the eye is soft and sensual. Add to that the attraction of the wood pipe adornment that stops the flow of the stain, and to that the turquoise cumberland that contrasts with and enlivens the stain, and you have a delight of color that is nonetheless understated.
