Prior to laying eyes on this bit of Lobnik innovation, if you asked me to imagine a conservative volcano whose form would momentarily whisk my mind back to the venerable clay, in reply I would have asked you to imagine a Walton’s episode where Grandpa skipped rope in the nude (simply can’t be done). Thankfully, Gregor Lobnik’s imagination isn’t nearly as limited as mine, and the artisan has created a myriad of shape combinations that are every bit as intuitive as the originals that he drew from. While the conical bowl (with nicely rounded heel) is about as conservative as a traditionalist could ask for, the addition of a slender shank and deliciously extended bit adds hints of a warden to my mind. Not a ‘true’ warden by a long shot, at a total length of a smidge over five inches, I’d play hell trying to make that case, but I feel the spirit is there.
Check out Gregor’s amazing ‘Cayman leather’ sandblasting, and subtle, dual-stain contrast on the bowl. Now check out the price. Personally, I see nothing but green lights here.

How To Buy?
You'll see I don't have links to PayPal to buy a pipe or accessories on my site, I don't like the idea of hitting a button and buying a pipe. Call me old fashioned but I want to know who's buying a pipe from me. Here is How to Buy »
