Eastgate will hold several special Holy Week services from Palm Sunday, April 1, through Easter, April 8.  Joining with Christians across the centuries, we will remember this climactic week in Jesus Christ’s life.  All are welcome to these special services.

Palm Sunday, April 1 at 10:25 am.
“Via Dolorosa: The Cursed Journey of God’s Anointed”  Worship service with procession of palms, special music, and Holy Communion.

Maundy Thursday, April 5 at 7:00 pm.
“Last Supper: The Cursed Betrayal”  A Service of Holy Communion and Tenebrae, with a meditation, special music, and traditional Scripture readings.

Good Friday, April 6 at 7:00 pm.
“The Seven Last Words of Christ” A service featuring short reflections on Christ’s seven statements from the cross.

Holy Saturday, April 7 at 8:00 pm.
“Blessings of Light Overcoming the Curse of Darkness”  The Great Vigil of Easter, featuring a meditation, special music, traditional scripture readings and responses, and Holy Communion.

Easter Sunday, April 8 at 10:25 am.
“A Promise Kept: Redeemed from the Curse”  Easter worship service with sermon, special music, and Holy Communion.
